Job Description
Barr is seeking an electrical engineer to join our Canadian team in a hybrid role, supporting the electrical group and working on multidisciplinary project teams. The ideal candidate has strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, and a strong technical ability and project management expertise.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- At least 5 years of related experience working in a design capacity on projects directly related to job responsibilities
- Experience in an industrial production environment such as mining and/or minerals processing, power plants, petroleum refining, or chemical production facilities
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng.) license in at least one U.S. or Canadian jurisdiction
- Possession of a current, valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
