Barr is seeking an environmental engineer to join our Minneapolis, Minnesota, office. In this hybrid role, you will support the Assessment and Remediation business unit and undertake challenging and progressive work on projects related to the investigation, evaluation, and remediation of contaminated sites.
Requirements
- Technical knowledge: apply foundational engineering principles to support site investigations, environmental sampling, and data collection.
- Project support: help coordinate field activities and logistics, including contractor oversight and equipment preparation.
- Problem solving: contribute to evaluating site conditions and identifying potential solutions to environmental challenges.
- Communication: produce clear field notes, chain-of-custody and data summaries, figures, and draft report sections/emails for review.
- Interpersonal savvy: effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients to align technical work with project objectives while fostering strong, productive working relationships.
