Barr is seeking an engineering student to work on project teams involved with civil engineering, hydraulic and hydrologic design and analysis, and related technical activities. The role involves technical analysis, design of structures, and field data collection. A successful person in this role is motivated and emphasizes client service by providing quality deliverables.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related engineering field
- Completed or enrolled in relevant engineering courses such as engineering hydrology, applied hydrology, water resource engineering, open channel hydraulics, etc.
- Must have a minimum of one full-time semester of undergraduate or graduate coursework remaining after the internship
- Strong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office software
- Possession of a current, valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship by Barr, now or in the future
