We are looking for an Underground Parts Runner at our Goldstrike operations. The successful candidate will perform diagnostic, maintenance, installation, and repair of equipment and systems in the underground shaft conveyances, level stations and hoisting apparatus.
Requirements
- Two (2) years' experience in mechanical/maintenance crafts
- Basic knowledge of conveyor systems
- Ability to troubleshoot and complete repair on all pumps
- Basic fabrication skills including welding and cutting, brazing, arc welding, and air arc
- Ability to identify parts needed for repairs by make, model, size, and type
- Basic knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics and the ability to apply those skills to troubleshoot and repair systems
- Basic knowledge of hoist and shaft maintenance for an underground mine
- Ability to read and use precision measuring tools, torque wrenches, and hand tools
- Excellent safety and attendance record
