Job Description
Barrick Gold, based in Marathon, Ontario, is seeking a highly motivated UG Mobile Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of underground mobile equipment. This leadership role is responsible for ensuring fleet performance, safety, and cost-effectiveness through collaborative teamwork and continuous improvement. The position requires adherence to safety regulations, operational targets, and proactive monitoring of equipment performance.
Requirements
- Journeyperson certification in Heavy Duty Equipment Mechanics (Red Seal or equivalent)
- Minimum 10 years of heavy equipment maintenance experience (3+ years in an underground mining environment preferred)
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Valid driver’s license required
- Physically fit and capable of working in confined spaces and varying underground conditions
- Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as SAP, and maintenance planning tools (asset)
