Orion Systems Engineer

Barrios is seeking an Orion Systems Engineer to join a passionate team working on NASA's deep space exploration initiatives. The role involves integrating systems, developing requirements, mentoring team members, and ensuring system integrity. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to mission-critical projects related to NASA's Orion, Gateway, and Space Launch System, while also supporting the growth of the commercial spaceflight industry and contributing to the health and safety of the workplace.

Requirements

• Apply expertise in systems engineering principles and techniques to establish and perform systems integration activities
• Manage the integration of Interface Requirements Documents and Interface Control Documents for the Orion program
• Utilize comprehensive understanding of the NASA human spaceflight program life cycle to perform Orion system integration activities
• Mentor team members with implementation of SE&I activities such as requirements identification, verification and tracking, interface definition and Interface Control Document (ICD) development
• Perform other duties as required
• Must be a U.S. Citizen and successfully complete a U.S. government background investigation
