Network Engineer

Basic-Fit’s IT team is looking for an experienced Network Engineer to ensure a reliable and well-functioning network across our international organization. The role involves identifying and implementing network improvements, optimizing and managing a large-scale international network environment, and resolving complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Network Engineer in large and complex environments
• HBO-level working and thinking ability (preferably with an ICT degree)
• Strong process-thinking skills, and the ability to implement and improve them in collaboration with partners
• Knowledge of Fortinet SDWAN
• CCNP (Cisco) certification (or higher)
• Proven knowledge and experience with routing, switching, and related protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, etc.)
• Experience with telephony systems (Cisco Call Manager, Cisco Webex, SIP trunking)
• Solid knowledge of IT security principles
• Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (German and French are a plus)
