Job Description
The Assistant Researcher in Seed Production in the Field will join the Seed Production – Field Activities team at Bayer Seeds SAS, based in Toury (28). The role involves setting up, monitoring, and harvesting seed production in the context of selection programs, using reliable and adapted agricultural equipment.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Production, Agronomy, Agriculture, Agricultural Equipment, or equivalent
- Strong interest in field work and outdoor agricultural activities
- Comfortable driving tractors and agricultural equipment
- Practical sense and appreciation for agricultural mechanics
- Rigor, autonomy, and ability to manage seasonal activities
- Ability to work in a team and follow experimental protocols
- Familiarity with basic computer tools (data entry, Excel)
- Driving license B is required
- CACES, Certiphyto, or driving authorizations are appreciated (internal training possible)
- Technical English is a plus
