Job Description
We are seeking a certified Medical Assistant to greet patients, schedule appointments, and collect personal information from patients. The Medical Assistant is also responsible for taking vital signs, helping practitioners with treatment, and collecting lab samples.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum age requirement of 18
- Certified or registered Medical Assistant
- Phlebotomy experience
- CPR/BCLS certification
- Familiar with State Regulations, DEA regulations, and TJC and/or CARF Accreditation
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Working knowledge of MS Office and patient management software
- 1-2 years' prior healthcare experience in a similar field and environment
