Job Description
BAART Programs is seeking a compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to assist patients through medically assisted treatments and offer techniques for handling opioid addiction. The counselor will conduct individual and group sessions to assist with crisis management and coping strategies, and evaluate patients' progress while collaborating with doctors, nurses, and other counselors.
Requirements
- Licensed in the State of Nebraska for substance abuse counseling
- Provisionally licensed addiction counselor (PLADC) or licensed addiction counselor (LADC)
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen
