Senior Product Designer

Bayut & dubizzle is seeking a Senior Product Designer to lead the design of complex solutions for their users, focusing on user-centred design principles and influencing product direction. The role involves conducting research, mentoring, driving the evolution of design systems, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. This position requires a strong understanding of design principles and tools to deliver high-quality digital experiences.

Requirements

• A degree in Design, Computer Science, or a similar field.
• 5+ years of experience in product design.
• Deep understanding of typography, interaction design, information architecture, and visual design.
• Extensive knowledge of design systems and how to evolve them.
• Knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
• Expertise in design software (Figma, Adobe XD etc.) and prototyping tools.
• Excellent understanding of UI/UX principles and user-centred design practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Strong mentorship and leadership skills.
• Strong project management and multitasking abilities.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality design work.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing circumstances and project requirements.
