BBYO Engagement Associate – Ottawa, Canada

The BBYO Engagement Associate will play a pivotal role in working with teens in Ottawa to build and enhance their programming, engagement, and overall impact for Jewish teens. Responsibilities include building new BBYO chapters, creating impactful programs, and supervising chapter meetings.

Requirements

• Ability to work in-person in the Ottawa area
• The number of hours worked per week is flexible, but at minimum 5 hours per week
• Ability and willingness to work non-traditional work hours (evenings & weekends)
• Availability to supervise weekly chapter programs at the Soloway JCC and attend regional programs and conventions in Toronto
• A creative and responsible self-starter who is comfortable with both taking initiative and working in collaboration with teens
• A background in BBYO or similar youth/Jewish organization is preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills

Benefits

• Hourly Rate: $20-25 per hour, commensurate with experience
