Community Director, Southern California

BBYO is seeking a passionate Community Director to play a pivotal role in deepening relationships with regions, attracting talent, and driving growth within their communities. This role involves developing staff, ensuring program quality, fostering a positive team culture, and serving as a liaison between parents, alumni, and community partners. The ideal candidate will be passionate about youth development and passionate about BBYO's mission.

Requirements

• Proven ability to foster a positive, healthy, and collaborative team culture.
• 7+ years of work experience.
• Bachelor's Degree or higher.
• Familiarity with budget management and financial oversight.
• Must reside in the Southern California metro area.
• Ability to travel extensively, attend events, and staff summer programs.
• Ability to work non-traditional hours (nights and weekends).
• Unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S. without a visa or sponsorship.
