Job Description
BD is seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our innovative team at CareFusion 303, Inc. This role involves designing, developing, and deploying complex software solutions that enhance our medical device and healthcare technology platforms.
Requirements
- Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of complex software systems and features for CareFusion's medical device and healthcare technology products.
- Architect robust, scalable, and maintainable software solutions, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and technical standards.
- Collaborate closely with product management, UX/UI designers, quality assurance, and other engineering teams to define requirements, priorities, and project scope.
- Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and innovation.
- Identify and troubleshoot complex technical issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing effective solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, tools, and methodologies, including CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and agile practices.
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating their potential impact and applicability to CareFusion's product offerings.
- Contribute to the technical vision and roadmap, making informed recommendations for future architectural directions and technology choices.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards (e.g., FDA, HIPAA) in all software development activities.
