Job Description
BDO is seeking a STS Tax Manager, State and Local Taxation to advise clients on tax implications, recommend alternate courses of action, and comply with regulations. The role involves marketing, networking, and professional development within the State and Local Taxes area, alongside collaboration with core partners and management. The STS Manager will also be responsible for tax consulting and drafting technical memoranda.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or other relevant field
- Master's degree in Accounting/Taxation or J.D. preferred
- 5+ years of prior experience in state and local/multistate experience
- Experience supervising tax professionals on a project or engagement
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations and partnerships preferred
