Job Description
BDO is seeking a Senior Financial Improvement Management Consultant to support project delivery for US Defense agencies. This role involves financial improvement, transformation, and audit support to improve the completeness, accuracy, reliability, and timeliness of federal agency financial data, ultimately supporting obtaining an unmodified audit opinion. The consultant will partner with practice leaders on business development, project delivery, and client engagement.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, Business Management/Administration, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Data Science, or field related to the position
- Ten (10) or more years of experience with Federal financial management
- Four (4) or more years of experience with Federal accounting
- Operating Materials & Supplies (OM&S) or Inventory & Related Property experience (preferred)
- Active Secret level security clearance, required
- One (1) or more of the following active certifications: CPA, CISA, CGFM, CDFM, or other required certifications
