Job Description
The Compounder II is responsible for manufacturing product batches according to formula procedures, operating processing equipment, and following GMPs and procedures in a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements
- Manufactures product batches according to formula procedures with proper supervision
- Assist with training of new and temporary employees
- Properly operate processing equipment for which they are trained
- Recognize safety hazards and alert management accordingly
- Follow all GMP and SOP guidelines in all phases of work
- Keep work area clean and follow safety rules at all times
- Complete batch record documents, housekeeping logs, and other documents pertaining to manufacturing as accurately as possible
- Wash, sanitize, and set up all necessary manufacturing equipment used in manufacturing batches
- Report decisions, problems, and questions to Compounding Supervisor or Compounding Manager
- Maintain efficient Compounding operations by solving process problems and adjusting equipment, when necessary
- Follow and abide by the Company Policy Manual at all times
- Perform other related duties or projects as required
