Job Description
Facilities Maintenance II - Lift Operator is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in all areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, parking lots, and common spaces. Gather cardboard and plastic from the production lines and warehouse, load and compact the materials into the baler ensuring the bales are properly tied and ready for transport. Safely operate the sit-down forklift ensuring proper loading of the recycle cardboard trailer.
Requirements
- Keep facilities and common areas clean and maintained.
- Sweep, mop, scrub, buff and wax the floors.
- Clean up spills with appropriate equipment.
- Remove garbage and recycling plastic / cardboard.
- Bale cardboard and plastic.
- Collect and dispose trash.
- Keep track of inventory needs.
- Safely and efficiently load the cardboard trailer.
- Follow safety rules.
