Job Description
The Machinist will work closely with Engineering and Production to produce manufacturing parts. This involves operating machines, programming CNC equipment, and maintaining equipment. They'll also be responsible for blueprint reading, quality control, and preventative maintenance. The role requires a focus on precision and attention to detail.
Requirements
- Precision Machining or similar technical degree preferred
- Intermediate math skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to read blueprints
- Understanding of computer software programs such as CAD
- Ability to work independently
- Experience with machine tools (lathes, milling machines, grinders)
- Basic understanding of G code
- Ability to work independently
