Job Description
BeeX is building the world's most advanced Hovering Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (HAUVs). The Mechanical Intern will work on the design, production, and testing of mechanical systems for BeeX's flagship vehicle and upcoming projects.
Requirements
- Assist with design and fabrication of mechanical components, mechanisms, and electronics housings in CAD
- Assist with FEA Simulation on design components for structural integrity and stress failure assessment
- Drafting of 2D drawings for fabrication and assembly
- Assembly and testing of designed mechanical components in the workshop and testing in real-world environments
- Sail out to sea for testing and evaluation of completed mechanical designs
- Gather user requirements
- Establish and iterate on documentation and test procedures for mechanical quality control / regulatory compliance
