In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the construction, mechanical, and industrial projects that help power the wind energy industry. You'll have the chance to work on a variety of exciting projects across industries like wind energy, oil and gas, power plants, solar, and many more. Whether you’re supporting the construction of wind turbines, manufacturing facilities, or production plants, your work will make a real impact in some of today’s most dynamic fields.
Requirements
- Provide labor for various wind, facilities construction, industrial, and mechanical projects
- Learn to operate basic machinery such as a man-lift, scissor lift, fork-lift, etc.
- Assist in the installation of wind turbines, including the assembly of components such as blades, nacelles, and towers
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure the turbines are operating efficiently to include lubrication, filter changes, and checking for wear and tear on components
- Learn to read blueprints and specifications to determine job requirements
