Belden is seeking a Buyer and Planner to ensure timely procurement and planning of materials, optimize inventory levels, and improve cost efficiency. This role collaborates with internal departments, suppliers, and customers to deliver high-quality production and support continuous improvement initiatives. The Buyer Planner will act as a liaison between departments to guarantee timely deliveries.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in production planning, buying, or supply chain (preferably in manufacturing).
- Strong knowledge of MPS, MRP, SAP (or similar ERP systems).
- Experience in supplier negotiation and development.
- Analytical skills for economic proposals, forecasting, and KPI management.
- Strong communication and coordination skills across departments and suppliers.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and inventory control.
- Advanced Excel and reporting skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English (written and spoken).
