Job Description
Bella & Bona is a venture-capital-backed food-tech business offering a workplace food program. We're looking for a talented intern to support our finance and accounting team in coordinating the monthly payroll process, managing accounts receivable and payable, and performing regular bank reconciliations.
Requirements
- MSc in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, Insurance, Financial Engineering, or a similar quantitative discipline
- Proven experience in accounting, finance operations, payroll, AP/AR management, or within the finance department of a corporate or financial institution
- Solid understanding of financial processes, cash flow monitoring, reconciliation, and financial reporting
- Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to identify inconsistencies, variances, and optimization opportunities
- Strong MS Office skills, particularly advanced Excel (formulas, pivot tables, financial modeling); knowledge of Excel/VBA is a plus
- Working knowledge of SQL or similar querying tools is a plus; basic programming capability for data extraction and validation is considered an advantage
- Experience in a start-up or scale-up environment is highly valued
- Able to work independently with a high level of ownership and accountability
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset, with the confidence to interact directly with leadership
- Fluent in English (written and spoken); German is a plus
