Job Description
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care to clients participating in the Agency's Psychiatric Residential Treatment Facility (PRTF). The role involves active engagement in client trust building, therapeutic relationship development, evaluation of treatment processes, and collaboration with the interdisciplinary team. The LPN will utilize knowledge of medications and adapt to changing situations.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Practical Nursing
- Valid Ohio Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license
- Ability to perform job responsibilities with high degree of initiative and independent judgment
- Competency in medication administration and documentation
- Understanding of therapeutic communication and interpersonal skills
