Director of School Safety & Security

BelovED Community Charter School is seeking a Director of School Safety & Security to lead a comprehensive school safety program and protect scholars, staff, families, and facilities. This leadership role involves strategic vision, operational leadership, and strong community partnership.

Requirements

• Current NJ SORA License
• Valid Driver’s License
• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in school safety, security, law enforcement, government, corporate security, or loss prevention
• Demonstrated experience leading teams and managing complex security operations
• Ability to remain calm, decisive, and professional in high-stress situations
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
