Job Description
Benchling is seeking a highly-senior Software Engineer focused on Platform development to build and implement tooling for efficient development, testing, and packaging. This role focuses on streamlining workflows, improving developer experience, and driving innovation through scalable infrastructure and effective engineering patterns. The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to delight engineers and grow the team.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering
- 5+ years of experience with containerized applications (Docker, Kubernetes, etc) in production
- Expertise with at least one web framework, preferably node or python
- Strong abilities in problem solving and iterating on feedback
- Empathy for customers and a desire to learn about life science
