Job Description
Benesch is a growing, multi-disciplinary planning, engineering, and professional services firm seeking a Civil Construction Engineering Intern. The internship provides hands-on field experience supporting road, water main, and sewer construction projects. Interns will collaborate with experienced engineers and project managers, learning directly from the team. The role offers exposure to construction observation, project documentation, and mentorship.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (EIT preferred)
- Experience working on field projects a plus
- Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, and/or AutoCAD is desirable
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organizational skills with ability to work efficiently within budgets and schedules
- Valid driver’s license and good driving record
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
