Job Description
Benesch is seeking a Structural Project Engineer to join their Michigan division, working on complex projects in the East Lansing area. This role involves bridge design, load rating, inspection, and coordination with MDOT standards. The ideal candidate will be licensed in Michigan and possess strong communication skills, preferably with experience working on MDOT projects.
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
- PE License in Michigan or ability to obtain
- Minimum of 4 years of bridge design, load rating, and/or inspection experience
- Progressive experience with developing design drawings and utilizing MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
- Strong communication and client relation skills
- Strong organization and leadership skills
- Ability to perform complex analysis and design
- Ability to assemble a complete design package
