Job Description
Benesch is a rapidly growing planning, engineering, and professional services firm seeking a motivated Transportation Engineering Intern. This internship offers hands-on experience in highway and roadway design, traffic analysis, and plan preparation, as well as mentorship from experienced engineers. The internship is based in Lincoln, NE, with potential for mentorship from senior engineers and project exposure.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
- Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering
- Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (Geopak or 3D Modeling experience a plus, but not required)
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
- Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
