Job Description
Benshaw is seeking a Design Engineer III to lead complex projects, design new products, and improve existing ones. The role involves cost analysis, component testing, and collaboration with R&D. The Engineer will also support production team and improve product qualification.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years’ experience within application, design, or sustaining engineering or technical sales function
- Ability to design and configure complex systems
- Ability to travel occasionally
- Strong design experience with low or medium voltage solid state starters
- Demonstrated design and qualification experience with UL 347 and/or UL 508A
- Demonstrated design experience with AutoCAD
- Demonstrated design and qualification experience related to power electronics
- Demonstrated design experience on product lines that result in modular common assemblies for late point configuration
