The Receiving Goods Operator is responsible for document management and verification, operational management of material flow, and communication and coordination with planning, quality, and internal logistics. The role requires knowledge of logistics management systems, logistical document management, and equipment handling.
Requirements
- Knowledge of logistics management systems: ERP (SAP), JIT/JIS systems, delivery note management
- Logistical document management: delivery notes, labels, packing lists, certificates
- Reading references and batches: understanding of codifications and automotive industry standards. Scanning of Odette labels
- Equipment handling: forklift, electric pallet jack (with valid certificate)
- Inventory control: entries, movements, adjustments, and trackability
- Basic knowledge of quality and non-conformities
- Safety and risk prevention standards in docks and logistics areas
- Attention to detail and precision, essential to avoid errors
- Organization and time management, especially during peak receipt periods
- Resolving incidents quickly and with judgment
- Teamwork with forklift drivers, production, and quality
- Adaptability to changes in workload or emergencies specific to the automotive sector
- Effective communication with suppliers, carriers, and internal teams
- Proactivity to anticipate needs and maintain flow without interruptions
