Berklee College of Music is seeking a Studio Operations and Support Consultant to join their dynamic team. The role involves providing technical support for audio equipment, music technology software, and audiovisual systems, as well as supervising a team of student Studio Assistants and managing equipment check-outs.
Requirements
- Provide in-person, remote, and on-call technical support for specialized audio equipment, music technology software, and audiovisual systems
- Assist faculty and students during classes, recording sessions, events, and ensemble performances
- Monitor and test systems proactively; troubleshoot and escalate technical issues to appropriate teams
- Collaborate on technology upgrades and new installations
- Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 50 student Studio Assistants
- Manage equipment check-outs, maintain accurate usage records, and audit security logs to protect valuable resources
- Coordinate scheduling with the Booking Office and facilitate orientation sessions to onboard new users
