The Technology Service Desk Student Assistant provides friendly and reliable support for Berklee students, faculty, and staff with technology issues. The role focuses on Tier 1 support and involves troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
Requirements
- Current student at Berklee College of Music or Boston Conservatory at Berklee
- Enrolled at least half-time in a degree, diploma, or certificate-seeking undergraduate or graduate program
- Have a valid United States Social Security Number (SSN)
- Remain in “valid” Visa status as applicable
- A minimum 2.0 cumulative GPA
- In good disciplinary standing
- Must be located in the U.S.
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay calm and helpful when troubleshooting under time pressure
- Basic understanding of macOS and computer hardware
- Ability to document work and follow written guidance in systems like Jira and Confluence
- Professional and respectful attitude with users and colleagues
