IS Mechanical Designer II

We are seeking a IS Mechanical Designer II to design mechanical systems, components, or assemblies using engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience with building construction, especially mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or automatic temperature controls.

Requirements

• Works closely with project managers, engineers and contractors to create unique high-level concepts and designs for all assigned projects.
• Conducts field surveys to identify existing equipment types and system capabilities.
• Produces design documents including drawings, system flow diagrams and architecture, wiring diagrams, construction details, and equipment scheduling.
• Delivers concepts and designs according to strict project deadlines.
• Assist with the development of technical reports or related documents.
• Provides leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to team members.
