Project Accountant

The Construction Project Accountant is responsible for overseeing accounting for projects, including maintenance of the general ledger and the month-end close process. They work closely with the Construction Management team in areas including budget and forecast preparation, project financial analysis, and development of internal control policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Performs daily and monthly accounting processes
• Prepares monthly client invoicing
• Enters subcontractor accounts payable invoices
• Assists in the preparation and analysis of financial information
• Provides analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
• Assists with submission of information and necessary communication with internal and external auditors
