Job Description
BT-161 is seeking a Bespoke Technologies, Inc. Innovation and Automation Data Engineer Lead to build the foundation of a company-wide data organization. This role involves designing, creating, and managing data pipelines, mentoring a team, and driving innovation in data automation. The position is a player-coach role with a focus on creating reusable frameworks and automating complex data processes.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering
- At least 2 years of experience in a technical leadership or mentorship role
- Expert-level skills in Python and SQL
- Proven experience building and optimizing data pipelines on platforms like Databricks or Snowflake
- Hands-on expertise with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform) and CI/CD tools (e.g., GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Deep understanding of data architecture, data modeling, and modern data warehousing concepts
