Job Description
BETA Technologies is revolutionizing electric aviation with a shared mission of sustainability. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to designing and developing electronic systems for flight controls, motor control, and battery management. The role involves designing, testing, and analyzing electronic hardware to meet high standards and contribute to the development and certification of electronic components for BETA's electric aircraft.
Requirements
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science
- 2+ years experience in electronics design and schematic capture
- Experience with electrical simulation tools
- Above and Beyond Qualifications (Advanced Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Experience with prototyping tools
- Experience designing power supplies topologies and analyzing performance
- Experience with ZVS topology
- Experience with EVM (Electric Field Simulation)
- Experience with PCB layout and knowledge of assembly standards
- Experience with GIT version control
- Experience with microcontroller device configuration
- Pilot’s license or interest in aviation
- Financial needs: $95,000 - $160,000 a year
