Sonographer - Per Diem

Sonographer - Per Diem position at Mount Auburn Hospital. Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams, evaluates images, and interacts with patients and medical staff. Requires graduate degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS certification.

Requirements

• Performs diagnostic ultrasound exams according to department protocol
• Evaluates ultrasound images for technical quality
• Interacts professionally and courteously with patients, co-workers, and medical staff
• Follows Universal Precaution guidelines with each patient
• Produces an accurate computer and written record on each exam
• Pursues continuing education by attending department and hospital-wide programs, regional seminars, and/or college courses
