Backend Engineering Tech Lead

Requirements

• Strong technical background and understanding of non-functional requirements
• Expertise with designing and implementing distributed microservices (preferably using Docker and Kubernetes) and highly cacheable RESTful APIs
• A deep understanding of real-time messaging patterns (preferably Kafka and RabbitMQ)
• Highly experienced and comfortable working with both SQL and NoSQL databases (preferably PostgreSQL, SQL Server, and Couchbase)
• Possess demonstrated working experience with observability practices for highly available systems (such as Grafana and OpenTelemetry)
• Experienced and passionate about coaching and mentoring people, preferably having done so in a similar role
• Able to work out of own initiative and under pressure
• Technical proficiency with.NET technology stack
• Working experience with AWS
• Clear verbal & written communication
