Job Description
The role involves designing and developing the platform to fulfil business needs and improve systems, focusing on creating data pipelines, maintaining data platforms for batch and real-time loading, and creating data visuals. It offers a chance to build processes from ingestion, transformations, and data modelling. The position requires investigative skills and proactive problem-solving.
Requirements
- Experience with modern cloud database technologies such as Snowflake
- Experience with orchestrating data pipelines using Airflow
- Experience with AWS Glue
- Experience with Apache Iceberg
- Experience with SQL and Data Integration Tools
- Experience with Python or Scala
- Knowledge of AWS Services like S3/Lambda/API Gateways/DMS/RDS
- Development experience in both Microsoft and Linux/Cloud environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- 2+ years of experience in Data Engineering
