Database Engineer - Gaming

We are hiring a Database Engineer to join our Gaming Area within Product Development. The successful candidate will be part of preparing our journey to containerization, increasing the scalability of our systems while maintaining their high quality.

Requirements

• Design, implement, and maintain robust database solutions using PostgreSQL, MSSQL, Couchbase, MongoDB, OpenSearch, and Elasticsearch.
• Improve query performance through query refactoring, schema redesign, and fine-tuning of data layer service configurations.
• Create optimal data models for new services and enhance existing ones to support scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations teams to negotiate and deliver technical solutions in a highly collaborative environment.
• Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, retrospectives, and continuous integration/deployment.
• Implement monitoring solutions and proactively identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and data-related issues.
