Medical Assistant (Bilingual Spanish/English)

We're seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team at VIPcare. As a medical assistant, you'll be responsible for administrative and clinical tasks, such as maintaining patient records, preparing patients and rooms for examination, and assisting physicians with exams. This role is a safety-sensitive position that involves direct patient care and administering medication.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of Accredited Medical Assistant program, preferred (RMA or CMA)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Assistant
• CPR certification, preferred
• IV Start Certification, preferred
• Phlebotomy experience, preferred
• Knowledge of medical coding, preferred
• Knowledge of HIPPA, preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA, preferred
