Data Scientist

BetterHelp is on a mission to remove the traditional barriers to therapy and make mental health care more accessible to everyone. As a Data Scientist, you’ll join a diverse team of licensed clinicians, engineers, product pros, creatives, marketers, and business leaders who share a passion for expanding access to therapy.

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in a data science role or relevant internships, ideally applying analytical skills to real-world problems
• Degree in a quantitative discipline such as Statistics, Math, Economics, or Operations Research
• Experience working with data from web or product environments
• Proficiency in SQL
• Hands-on experience with data analysis and statistical methods through work, internships, or academic projects
• Strong grasp of core analytical concepts and ability to apply them to ambiguous problems
• Clear and thoughtful communicator, with a desire to keep improving how complex ideas are shared across different audiences
