Experienced Heavy Equipment Finish Operator

The Experienced Heavy Equipment Finish Operator is responsible for operating heavy equipment on a construction jobsite in a safe manner. They will stay current on GPS Grade Control Systems, ensuring their ability to effectively and efficiently operate all necessary equipment.

Requirements

• Operating equipment in a safe and efficient manner according to company policy, as well as manufacturer’s guidelines
• Performing daily maintenance and safety checks along with routine maintenance on equipment and machines
• May operate trucks to transport equipment to and from job sites as required
• Responsible for reporting problems and malfunctioning equipment to supervisor and / or shop foreman
• Ability to correctly operate grade control technology
• Cleaning equipment as required
• Maintain a clean job site; pick up all tools and equipment, secure job site and equipment at the end of each day
• Foster civil interactions and relationships in the workplace
• Uphold acceptable attendance
• Is a productive team member that supports the team by traveling assisting where needed
• Comply with all applicable safety, environment, health and waste management policies and procedures
• Ability to handle stress while adhering to the code of conduct and company safety policy
