Job Description
BGIS is seeking a General Repair Technician III to operate and maintain facility mechanical equipment, performing inspections, preventative/corrective maintenance, and ensuring operational uptime. This role involves collaborating with departments to support building operations and maintain a commitment to safety, sustainability, and employee development. The position includes both on-site work and a focus on system improvements and upgrades.
Requirements
- High school diploma plus trades training and/or certification or licensing
- Minimum 3 years’ experience providing preventive and corrective maintenance
- Knowledge of processes and practices relating to facility operations and maintenance
- Sound knowledge of building automation systems (BAS)
- Strong client-service orientation and a high sense of urgency
- Knowledge of HVAC Systems
- Compliance with Health and Safety policies including wearing PPE
