Job Description
BGIS is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the full accounting cycle for a client or business unit, involved in full accounting cycle. This role requires proficiency in financial planning and analysis, as well as detailed transaction support. The analyst will review project financials, perform monthly reports, and provide insights into accounts receivable and general ledger maintenance.
Requirements
- 3-6 years of progressive experience in public accounting or industry roles
- University graduation or professional certification (e.g. P. Eng, CMA, CGA or equivalent courses)
- Ability to communicate basic accounting principles
- Advanced level knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office suite of software
- Understanding of complex accounting issues like revenue recognition
- Completion of Accounting designation program (CGA, CMA, CPA)
