Job Description
BGIS is seeking a Senior Interior Designer to plan and develop optimal space solutions for client needs. This role involves creating design concepts, developing occupancy and logistical plans, and ensuring adherence to budget and timelines while considering environmental, structural, and functional aspects. The Planner will lead and support other Interior Designers and provide client service to maintain excellent relationships.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design
- Interior design and documentation expertise
- Awareness of building issues, building and safety codes
- Software proficiencies in MS Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Strong working knowledge of project management, design, move management, construction and scheduling
- NCIDQ, LEED AP, BCIN, MCR, Bill 124 would be considered an asset
