Job Description
BillionToOne is a next-generation molecular diagnostics company developing powerful and accurate diagnostic tests. We're seeking a Clinical Genomics Scientist, Oncology to help drive somatic mutation variant interpretation and reporting.
Requirements
- Ph.D. in Human Genetics, M.S. in Genetic Counseling, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in somatic variant interpretation based on ACMG/AMP guidelines in a clinical setting
- Hands-on experience working with human mutation databases (COSMIC, ClinVar, OncoKB), functional annotation sources (dbSNP), and genome browsers (UCSC)
- Familiarity with IGV and BAM file analysis
- Knowledge of cancer somatic mutation and signaling pathways
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
