Intern, Assay Strategy & Development- Bioanalytical Sciences

The BioMarin Summer Internship Program will enable students to gain valuable experience and knowledge of the processes and systems within BioMarin, while gaining an insight into the pharmaceutical/biotech industry. The intern will work closely with a BAS Scientist on a dedicated research project, gain practical experience in cell biology, molecular biology, and protein biochemistry, and apply common laboratory techniques.

Requirements

• Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in neuroscience, immunology, molecular & cell biology, biochemistry, or related field
• Demonstrated interest in a laboratory-based career
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
