Job Description
BioMarin is seeking an experienced Medical Director to lead a Clinical Development Team at their Experimental Medicine center, focusing on designing and executing first-in-human clinical trials. The role involves strategic clinical development planning, leading clinical trial contributions, and ensuring optimal asset positioning for Phase 1, Phase 2, and IND submissions. Collaboration with various teams is crucial for successful early clinical development.
Requirements
- MD or MD/PhD required
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in industry clinical trials
- Experience with IND filings and Phase 1 trial clinical leadership
- Experience in Phase 1 clinical trials
- Experience with Phase 2 clinical trials (preferred)
- Experience leading clinical development teams
- Experience with clinical development plans
- Ability to work collaboratively
